ANGRY BIRDS ANYONE?

Totally forgot to post the cards we made last week at our card club.  The Angry Bird card was provided by our hostess June.  Its a cute kids card if you need something different. I'm a bit "sponging challenged" so I had some issues with my clouds. Hahaha!  I figured "Its a Kids Card" their not going to care about the clouds!  It's just me being picky.  The other is a masculine card for a Birthday.  This card was an impromptu creation.  The ladies knew which stamp they wanted to use and the polka dot paper they wanted but had no design figured out yet.  Not being in my own craft room makes thinking for me more difficult!  But I came up with this idea and we went with it.  It's ok but I think if I had more time (days) I would have probably changed a few things.  Needless to say it's still an ok card and I thought I'd share.

Is it Spring yet?

The East coast is going to be bombarded with another wave of snow, the South is getting a major ice storm and we in the Midwest are expecting just a bit more snow.  Will this winter ever end?  To help us start thinking of Spring I have 2 Springtime cards. Neither of these cards require a die cut machine.  All cuts were either freehand or a I used various punches.  Haven't used my corner punches in a long time and thought the hearts were a cute touch to the Pink and Lilac card.  The swirls on the lilac oval was also a swirl punch I got on clearance probably 10 years ago at Michaels.  Never thought of using it to create a lacy kind of look though I have in the past used the little swirly things it punches out.   The other card is made with a paper pack I got for free at Archivers during one of their promotional things where you spend $50 and you get a free paper pack.  Never opened it and it's probably 4-5 years old.  Cute papers in there!  Should have looked sooner.  I'm thinking of adding some sort of flower to the card on the yellow oval though.  It just looks like it's missing something.

Valentines and Christmas

Well just in time for Valentines Day I have 2 more cards to share and I threw in a Christmas one while I was at it.  These cards are the ones we made at my ladies gathering.  The NOEL Christmas card is from the Stampin Up card club "Pumpkin".  Every month you get a new kit delivered right to your door.  You can check out for more details from your local Stampin Up demonstrator or go to Stampinup.com   The card in the middle is a variation of one I previously posted and the third card is a side step card.  I think they are all really adorable.

Next up will be some spring cards that can be used for many different occasions and of course More Christmas cards but I promise to only post 1 per post.  Like I said earlier if I do at least 1 per month I will at least have 12 finished by the holidays plus 12 different styles.  Lets face it....who doesn't like a little bit of Christmas every month?  I know I do.

Happy Carding!
